2.4 Report on The Show (Evaluation)
Today was the the show and i must say we did break a leg.
We had about 1hour to fix the lighting, the music and our positions. Today was just sooo crazy, i have never seen our class work this fast and good. It was a rough start but when everyone as calmed down we got the lighting, the music and our positions fixed.
It was 20 minute before our show start and it was time for us to put on our make up.
Puting our Mime make up on wasn't at all fun as i thought it would be. There was a lot of moving, shouting for where the make up was and rushing. Everyone was just all over the place trying to fix themselves but at the end we pulled it off. Some people make up was good and some could use a bit pf fixing but nevertheless we had our make up done and 2 minutes to get to our places before they called us up.
When we was on stage we had the best performance ever. We remember what we were doing, knew when to start and stop. And the audiences was fantastic. Our mime show was mainly comedy because on our survey people vote for comedy and i believe that that is what we gave our audience because they couldnt stop laughing.
Looking back on how we start planning and rehearsing, i think we came a long way because we were girls that had great idea about the show and we didn't know where to start and now we are girls that put up a wonderful show all by ourselves, i couldn't be more proud of everyone else. I think we survived the journey we all made together and i cant wait to see our performance on stage.
My Creative and Media Class put up a show called sssh!!! that would be talked about for the rest of the Year.
The audience response: Mr David-drama teacher 'That was the best show i have ever watched, you were magnificent abisola well done keep up the good work"
Student-'you were really good abisola i liked the show a lot, i was mainly watching you when you was on the stage'
Ms Archbold-English Teacher 'well done abisola that was a good show, i like the use of your face expression and your body language, your stage present was fantastic'

2.3.3Whole Performance Rehearsal- Report
Today Rehearsal
We had a dress Rehearsal today to see if our costumes match our characters but unfortunately not all of us brought our costumes it was about 5 of us that borught our costumes. i was in the 5 people. the rehearsal was reuined because of people not bringing their costumes so that we can see the effect of the whole performance with costumes and all.
However overall i think that the dress rehearsal went smoothly because we used the dance studio which has a full lenght miirror. the dance studio was a good place to rehears because we get to see our mistakes and take actions to make it better in another word improve our performance.
i think that we all worked well better than the last time we all rehears because everyone was energetic and that brought our performance in a high level. We could have improved our rehearsal if everyone brought their costumes.
in terms of my performance i think i did well, i acted my character euphuistically and i even tried some new tricks into my performance which i enjoyed through out.

Today was the last Rehearsal before the day of the show which is tommorrow 02/07/10.
We watched our previous work on screen when the proffessional Mime artist came to do a workshop with us. While we are watching ourself on screen we had a lot of idea to put into our show especially in the beginning. Watching ourself inspired us on what to put and cut on our show.
Today was all about fixing and cutting our scene so that our show can run smoothly.
In terms of the whole class behaviour i think we make a good team because everyone participate and gave ideas into our up coming show.
My behaviour never dissapoint me or the rest of the class, i worked well gave my opinion and i think that our show will be a success.

2.3.1d Report on Today Rehearsal
Today Rehearsal didnt go as plan. The reason for this was that everyone wasnt there and there as to be some scene cut off because some of the people in the performance wont be there on the day because of their commiment to other projects.
Nevertheless, the show must go on, we adjust everything together so that the show could work well.
I haven't got my partner for the pair performance because she aint going to be there so i have to do a solo myself so that we have enough scene for the whole performance.
in terms of the group work, i think we did OK because we were all concern about the scenes that was cut off but we kept going and we have to adjust the music/sound and light as well.
We havent yet have a full dress rehearsal with the light and the sound/music and the day of the performance is close.
The question is can we pull it off?
Well i truly hope so.

2.31c Evaluation and Summary of today Rehearsal

I genuine think that the rehearsal wasn't as good as we could have make it because the group was hyperactive which makes our concentration of guide. Today was the first technical rehearsal. A technical rehearsal is when the lighting/sound technician planned what light/sound goes where when the performers shows there performance to them. We had a run through of the show and stop at any time when a particular light or sound need to be introduced.
I think that i worked O.K but i did contribute some ideas into the show. i contributed that when i finish the opening of the show, i should shrug to show that i have had enough of the wall. i also contribute that the props on the stage should be taken away by the previous people that was on the stage.
Overall i think that our show still need more work to be done but, nevertheless we did a good job of making it this far.

2.2.6a Report on Today Work
Report on Pair Meeting
In my pair meeting, we changed our scene back to the original one because our classmates prefer the first scene better than our other scenes/ideas. We also discussed on what we could change and we discuss what our scene was meant to be about and how we can present ourselves onstage.
After wards we talked about our choice of music to be played in our scene such as cartoons sound/special effects etc... And our deadline is next week Thursday to complete the search of our music.

We did not have a group meeting as we all know what need to be done in our class scene.
Report on Rehearsal
Today was one of the up-down rehearsal. It was a technical rehearsal which is when the technician adjust all the lights on where it needs to go and what color it should be. That part was OK but in terms of overall behavior, some students was letting our class down. To improve the rehearsal next time we should all cooperate and respect the views on the teacher in the way we behave.
My overall performance
In terms of my my overall performance i think i did a good job in concentrating on what was said to me and i behaved appropriately and respect others of my classmate.

Mime is when a performance that communicates entirely by gesture and facial expressions. Mime is a form of Drama. To make mime work you need to have 4 main points, which are: Facial Expressions, Exaggeration, Body Language, and Timing.
